Refund & Cancellation Policy
Drop is sold business-to-business only. This policy summarises how refund and cancellation requests are handled. It forms part of our Terms of Service; specific commercial terms are set out in your Statement of Work (SoW) or licence agreement, which prevail where there is any conflict.
1. Pilot fees
The £15,000 pilot fee is non-refundable once the Compliance Sandbox engagement has begun, except in cases of material breach by akanoodles. If you sign an annual licence within 60 days of pilot end, the pilot fee is credited against your year-1 licence in full.
2. Annual licence fees
Annual licence fees are non-refundable once the licence period has commenced. To prevent automatic renewal, give us at least 30 days' written notice ahead of the renewal date by emailing [email protected]. We will issue a confirmation and the licence will end at the close of the current period.
3. Material breach
If akanoodles is in material breach of its obligations under the SoW or licence agreement and has failed to remedy that breach within 30 days of written notice, you may terminate the affected engagement and we will refund any prepaid fees attributable to the unused portion of the term.
4. B2B only — consumer protections do not apply
Drop is sold to organisations only. The Consumer Rights Act 2015, the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013, and equivalent consumer-protection regimes do not apply to these Terms. Your rights are those set out in your SoW, your licence agreement, and the Terms of Service.
5. Disputes
If you are unhappy with how a refund or cancellation request has been handled, email [email protected] with the subject line "Refund dispute — <your company name>". We respond within 5 working days. Unresolved disputes are subject to the governing-law and jurisdiction clause of your licence agreement (or, where none, the courts of England & Wales).
